The ECB is expected to cut interest rates for the 7th time, and yet, “Too Late” Jerome Powell of the Fed, who is always TOO LATE AND WRONG, yesterday issued a report which was another, and typical, complete “mess!” Oil prices are down, groceries (even eggs!) are down, and the USA is getting RICH ON TARIFFS. Too Late should have lowered Interest Rates, like the ECB, long ago, but he should certainly lower them now. Powell’s termination cannot come fast enough!
What a bully culture, that accepts that from their representative.
Not only accept it, but many of my fellow (obviously ignorant) Americans applaud it and want more!

Well, I still love all sentient beings. But, that doesn’t preclude me from loathing and despising their thoughts and actions. Many of them are the unfortunate product of many larger problems that those before us allowed to continue unabated.
It’s really great of you to empathize with people that would happily watch you get sent to El Salvador for not conforming to their ideas of what an American should be. With just a little more of that positive attitude and empathy, I bet those nazis will give you a pass!
I have empathy because I know that one right realization can completely change anyone. Everyone deserves the chance at redemption. Still, I have cut most such people out of my life. Because, at age 50, I don’t feel it is my responsibility to be educating all of them, and they are insufferable.
I’m barely over 10 years younger than you. I have three kids between 10 and 17. I worried everyday for them that they would get caught up in one of the shootings at the grocery store or gas station, or that one of these kids bringing guns to their school might use one. I worried that the environment was going to hell and they were being left with even fewer opportunities than I had. And now this…
The door for redemption is always open. Until then, these people are enemies of my children’s future, of every child’s future. So til they seek that redemption, I wish the worst on them.
Yes, I worry about many of those same things, and I’m sure we both worry about much more than that. But, me hating people and wishing bad on them only causes me to feel bad (by them always being in my head). It doesn’t do anything to them. If it helps you, I would never ask you to stop wishing bad on them.
Edit: also, in my experience, most people that actually end up finding redemption aren’t actually looking for it. It comes when they least expect it, often through a major life occurrence.
Yep. They think that some nebulous “they” really deserve to be punished, to be “owned”, etc…and that petty vindictive little baby donvict is the one to deliver it.
What they think they will get out of this? They’ll still be living lives of misery, most likely made worse by donvict and the qons…
That’s the problem, they don’t think. They accept what people they look up to tell them as gospel. Whether it be a raping preacher, a raping cheeto, or raping “influencers.” All they focus on is the current step in the process, because the people they look up to tell them it will all be OK, as soon as they finish this next latest despicable thing.
Edit: and those of us that do think for ourselves and ask questions and point at hypocrisy and use facts are considered the “evil” ones. So, they have free reign to hate us for trying to awaken them.
They didn’t just accept it they enshrined it for all eternity even prior to the election.
